The suburb is home to a number of schools; St Judes Catholic School, Brookman P.S. and Langford Islamic College.

Growth
Compared to other surrounding suburbs, Langford is an underrated suburb, which is great for investors, first home buyers and families, as it is still affordable and yet has the convenience of amenities within minutes. Historically, values stayed down due to the number of state housing homes but as these have been sold off to private owners, the area has gained more interest and with a number of major highways connecting the area , the suburb has proven consistent growth over the years as property owners realise the benefits of the area.
